Love love this pattern and as I mentioned last time I made this project I wanted it longer than the pattern calls for so I chained 207 stitches.

By chaining 207 the blanket turned out 45” x 72” - exactly a foot longer than the pattern. I really preferred this length as I have tall people in my family and the original was too short for someone to lay down and have the blanket cover their toes comfortably.

The stitch pattern looks really more difficult then it is! You can definitely do it with the help of the tutorial videos on Bonnie Barker’s website, which are excellent! http://www.bonniebay.com/
