Preparing for the upcoming USA Rugby vs New Zealand game at soldier field, we decided all ten of us should have matching hats! This is the most perfect pattern!

I made a few modifications for size. I increased to 112 cast on stitches for medium and 124 stitches for a large man.

I also liked the ribbing long cuff so I knit ribbing for 3”. This pushed the pattern up a bit so I knit the two rows of red and blue alternate colors, every other stitch, on the top of the hat.

For the decrease followed the pattern until 4 stitches remained and thread through and pulled tight.
