This is my first completed knit shawl and my first beaded project - I had green, purple, and clear beads that I mixed together and I added them to the k2tog stitches in a random order. The beads made the entire shawl rather heavy, so I did not add the tassels.

I followed the pattern to start, but I must have gotten mixed up somewhere because when I got to the magical 227 stitches to begin the lace section, I was on the RS (pattern says it should be WS). I decided to do one more stockinette row to get to the WS - so my lace section actually started with 231 stitches.

This is a beautifully large shawl that drapes very nicely when blocked. I should have bound off looser than I did; the very point of my triangle tends to curl. In any case, I absolutely adore this finished project.
