So, I hope my friend likes this because I will never make another one.

It’s not that the crochet is hard - the instructions are very detailed and helpful - I just hate sewing things together and this project means lots of sewing.

When assembling it, I began with sewing 4 of the dark gray faces together, then attached all the pieces/parts to complete that side. Sewed on two more gray faces, then completed that new side. Sewed on the next face, completed that side, then sew on the last face to finish the last 2 sides. I finangled it so that I sew up the last seam with pink yarn and closed the final hole underneath one of the light gray rectangles… I have a hard time sewing things on when I can’t reach behind the project, so it seemed like a rectangle would be the easiest out of all the shapes to do.

I’m really proud of this. It should arrive in the mail for John Thomas today, so I hope he likes it as much as I do.
