This cowl was knitted with 9 strands of aran weight yarn.
The yarn is from Ireland. My Mom brought it home from a trip. The yarn is 100% wool, undyed - still has visible vegetable matter. When measured flat, this cowl is 32 inches (x2). I would make it 2-4 inches smaller the next time. (I am a size 6-8 top.) I did a lazy bind off, the double decrease. Saves time from sewing ends together later. I liked knitting this, but I am gifting it.
