It will be a softer gray version. I’ve had this yarn for ages and I really like the fabric at this gauge. A bit itchy, but I can take it.

Love the way the short rows are done in this pattern. Very fun and clear. I always worry about missing one - this method makes that unlikely. I did have to do it twice though: the first time around, I wasn’t careful enough with my turns and left some large holes (the method isn’t wrap and turn). But on the second time, I was careful to give a good tug each time I turned and it looks so much better.

I tried it on last night and I’m really quite in love with it. The fit is good so far and I love the softer stripes. heart_eyes

One sleeve to go and I’m 305g in with 71g gray and 73g of white left. Some partial balls were accidentally sacrificed to the cats.

Done. Just in time for spring. I love this sweater, especially in these colors, and hopefully we will get another cold day or two. It’s a good fit and I like the shape. Blocking next, and I’m going to block open the ribbing at the hem and arms as suggested. Finished pictures when it dries.
