I swatched with some leftover Brushed Alpaca silk, and now I just need to decide which colour.
I made a lightweight Kallias with this yarn, and have almost worn it to shreds, so I hope it will work OK with the lace pattern.
I’ll probably go with the Steel Blue for a cardigan, but maybe I’ll swatch both colours first.

All knitted exactly to pattern, apart from adding 1.25” to the sleeves.

It fits well without blocking, but I’ll give it a light spray mist to settle the stitches, rather than a full soak.
I was initially worried that the pockets would be too voluminous in this yarn, as they’re double thickness, plus the front panel on top. I pressed the pocket linings under a damp cloth to reduce the thickness, and they’re perfect.

Total weight, 158g, 884m. The sleeves took 20g (112m) each, if it helps anyone.

Across back, at underarm 22”
Front panels, 11”
Length (from middle of back to hem), 21.5”
Inside sleeve, 17.5”

Across back, top of sleeve to top of sleeve, on the yoke, 24”

Length (from middle of back to hem), 22”
Inside sleeve, 18.5”

The sleeves have stretched, so I’ve turned the cuffs back. I’m sure they’ll shrink back with wear…

Absolutely STUNNING pattern, and those pockets…roomy and so warm!

I’m sure I’ll make another one with better stitch definition, but I know I’m going to wear this to pieces…
