I decided to make this with the leftover laceweight yarns from my Tiree sweater, so I can wear it as an alternative neck option if it’s cold.
I also made the Tippi toppi hat, to complete the set.

I worked out, at the gauge of 22sts/30rows to 10cm/4”, that it would be just under 22” circumference, and I didn’t want a big cowl, so I just cast on the same number of sts as the pattern, but on 3.25mm.
Knitted 7 repeats of the lace pattern, and did the ribbing on 3mm.
I made the ribbing the same at both ends (1.5” after binding off)
I used a 2.75mm needle to pick up the sts on the inside for the 3 needle bind off.

Finished weight=53g.
Blocked size, 21.5” circumference, 11.5” height.
