Notes

I think this pattern might be the ideal way to use up this yarn that has been in my stash for quite a few years now.
It is a matt cotton with a shiny viscose strand in a nice delicate mint green.
First lace sweater. At first I found it very difficult keeping stitch counts but after printing enlarged charts and drastically ripping back due to a couple of evident mistakes , I finally got into the swing of it and could read my knitting as I went.
All sizes have the same size front and back lace panels and then stiches are picked up horizontally along the sides and sizing is made by making wider or narrower side panels.
I am making the sleeves 2inches longer and may not do the rib on the side panels.

Without the applied rib border to the side panels they tend to flare out. May do a small purl border as per neck band and sleeves.

I could have made a smaller size as it has turned out rather large even though my gauge is ok.
The lace panels have widened quite a lot around the upper part so maybe I will undo the neck border and pick up less stitches this time. Apart from that it is lovely to wear
