Yarn is from Woolfest 2018, debut wear was Woolfest 2019. Ian’s dyeing is brilliant, as always! This is a 200g skein.

LOVING that the gradient yarn encourages me to knit to see the color changes, and that every time I get bored of a stitch, the pattern changes it up with a different section. So far, this is turning out to be a quick and addictive knit.

I started this project well before the wedding, but it went into hibernation as I started working on my dress. I picked it up again for our little post-wedding weekend away and it was the perfect simple, rewarding project to keep me from thinking too much about how I was done with the dress.

I weighed the yarn as I went to ensure I’d use all of it, and added a few extra panels and things in the middle to make sure I had used half the yarn when I was half finished with the scarf. It worked really well! It’s not quite symmetrical in the middle, but it’s close enough that nobody but me is going to know. I’d have been really upset if I’d gotten to the end and only been able to use half of the pink section!
