After a successful attempt with the Go Buffalo pattern, which came out just fine, but was too small for my big boy, I tried a similar version but with much thicker yarn.
I made some modifications and the measurements were made in the process…
I got rid of the stripes, added a pocket, and instead of a ribbed button band, I chose a garter one with some short rows to make a shawl collar. I don’t think that went very well… I like the look of it but it probably needed to be much bigger in order for it to actually fold. I also think that my dimensions went a bit wrong, resulting to a pretty wide body that does not fit well on the shoulders. When he grows and the cardigan actually fits him, I will probably have to lengthen the sleeves…

He likes it though, so… :)
