Slip one stitch purl wise with the yarn in front, m1L (pick up yarn from front to back, knit into the back of the stitch), knit 1.

Knit 3 rows, slipping the first stitch of each row purl wise with the yarn in front.

Slip one, kfb, knit to the end of the row, knit 3 rows.

Continue in 4 row pattern until 6 stitches on the needle.

Slip one, kfb, knit to the end of the row, knit 5 rows in pattern.

Continue in 6 row increase pattern until just before the halfway point of the skein (weighing it occasionally). Up to 64 stitches.

Slip one, ktf, knit to the end of the row (65 stitches).

Slip one, knit to the end of the row (mid point).

Slip one, knit 1, ssk, knit to the end of the row, knit 5 rows in pattern.

Continue in 6 row decrease pattern until 7 stitches on the needle.

In pattern, knit 3 rows, on the fourth row, slip one, knit 1, ssk, knit to the end of the row and turn.

Continue in the 4 row pattern until 4 stitches remain.

Slip one, ssk, knit 1, repeat 3 row pattern (3 stitches remaining).

Slip one, k2tog (2 stitches), turn and p2tog, break yarn and weave in ends.
