Gracie saw this blanket at the Harry Potter exhibit at Times Square and asked for one when she goes to college. I guess I have less than a year now. :/

9/21 18 squares complete

using a 3 needle bind off on the right side with black to seam. makes it bulky and ugly looking--just like Gracie wants!

10/1 29 square complete

Gracie and I have decided it will be 9 x 11 or 12 squares. The 4 corner square will be House Squares.

6/16/13 One year hiatus over as Gracie is back and leaving for college in the US in the fall.

8/4/13 2 strips left, I think. The diagonal squares had some issues and puckered. Maybe I should have used a US 8. I have given up on anymore diagonal squares. I can see the end. But I want to be finished!

8/12 1 square left. I am so sick of these colors. Edging-- icord bind off? single crochet? or garter stitch??

2 rounds of single crochet in black. Everything else looked funky! FINISHED!!! YAY!! Now it needs to be blocked!!!
