Working on something that needs attention so I decided to do something easy that I can work on when I want to loaf. This fills the bill (once I got it started, duh).

8/12/18 All done but weaving ends. Should not be any but this yarn apparently had some damage, so there are five or six joins. Grrr. (It broke twice while winding and then had frayed spots that had to be cut out several times.)

8/20/18 I am not happy with this yarn. It snags when you look at it. As noted above, it broke easily. Not very tightly spun.

Also the finished project is much heavier than I expected from lace-weight, although I shouldn’t be surprised since it is HUGE. But because it’s heavy and warm it will no doubt be rarely worn here in Texas. Probably should have used a lacier pattern but considering how easily it broke I’m glad I didn’t! I love the color but compared with the other Wollmeise yarns I have used this one was disappointing.
