Notes

Becky picked this color. It’s not as gorgeous knit up as I had hoped but it’s kind of growing on me. This is a nice pattern and works very well with this glittery yarn. ETA: while working on it the colors were kind of muddy but when done it is gorgeous. The pictures of it on the blocking mats are quite accurate.

Cast on 312 stitches (13 reps of pattern vs 14). I knit so loosely that I was worried I’d run out of yarn unless I cut it down a bit. I did 6 repeats of the 8 rounds per the pattern. I had about 2 grams of yarn left at the end, enough so that I wasn’t TOO anxious about running out when I bound off. Did lace bindoff. Blocking a cowl is always a challenge; I ended up folding it in half and pinning the scallops together; we’ll see how it looks after it dries. Blocking is total 60 yards long and 9.5-10” wide.

BTW I highly recommend using markers every 24 stitches as the pattern suggests.
