Using the yarn left from Olives in November and Urban De’cowl. Jan tried these on and decided she did not like the lace cuff. So I started over, without the lace. Looking good.

2/9/2020 Big fail. I didn’t make good notes of what I did on mitt 1 so was not successful at duplicating on mitt 2. Also did not like how they looked. Ripped out both mitts. Thinking about whether to start over or not. This yarn is not very sturdy for mitts but on the other hand it feels lovely, so. In time out.

2/10/2020 Back at it. Got over halfway through the first mitt and I’m a lot happier. Hope the yarn I ripped will smooth out by tomorrow so I can finish.

2/14/2020 This project had a curse on it. I bound off and wove in all ends and then discovered the thumbs were not the same length. Argh! Luckily I had enough yarn to cut the short thumb out (lots quicker than trying to find my woven in ends!) and re-knit it the right length. I have washed and they look ok. I am truly happy to be finished with these!

2/17/2020 Gifted these to Jan and she was very happy with them and they are a perfect fit. Thank goodness!
