Went down from size 6 needle to 4 and still not getting row gauge. I see several others had this problem as well. I will see what happens; may make the sweater longer and as I planned to make it longer anyhow this may work out just fine. Did a swatch of the mosaic pattern and it seems to be closer to row gauge; looks good, anyhow.

12-27-2019 Making some progress; the body and hem are done. I picked up a billion stitches around the fronts and neck today and will give myself a little break before resuming mosaic. I made the body about 3 inches longer and the sleeves about 2 inches longer. This is a really clear, nicely written pattern.

Finished and soaking. Not totally happy with the joins on the i-cord, as others noted, but it will do. I did what the pattern said and sewed them together. I tried a bunch of ways and that was the best to my eye. Sleeves are ok, fronts are kind of ugly, but I don’t intend to give it any more worry. It’s a nice sweater and the colors are great.
