I’m not following the pattern, just using it for inspiration.

Working on 60 st.

20 rnds ribbing

Pattern is ten rows high (8 rnds k2p2, 2 rounds plain. Stagger rib). 5 reps, then heel on 30st for 18 ridges.

“Rounder heel” on 30st:

sl1, k17, SSK, k1, turn
sl1, p7, P2tog, p1, turn
sl1, k8, SSK, k1, turn

etc

decrease instep EOR to 60 st

7 pattern reps, then toe. Dec EOR to 40 st, then ER to 16.

P.S. I really liked working with this yarn. It’s a superwash, but doesn’t have the slippery feeling that some have. And I bought it on sale at Michael’s for, I dunno, about $4/ball! There are no real yarn stores anywhere near me, so it’s nice to have a sock yarn source so close to home.
