Notes

10/27: I planned to do thick stripes with these two colors but it turned out a little differently. I ended up doing a mixture of striping and it makes it look a little different than what I would normally do and that is how mine got the name “A Contemporary Melody”. Also I just thought it sounded nifty.

I really enjoyed knitting this simple pattern, and I also enjoyed this yarn. The product is very squishy, soft, and beautiful. I really wish I could properly capture the colors of this yarn but it’s just not in my power.

Anyway I haven’t washed and blocked it yet but I couldn’t help going ahead with taking pictures and letting you all know how excited I am about my new scarf!

10/28: Finished blocking and now I will knot the fringe together 2 strands at a time to make sure that it stays tight.

A note for when you join to start knitting in the round: Make sure that your stitches haven’t gotten twisted, it’s really annoying having to keep rotating the scarf while you’re knitting.
