I actually used yarn from my stash, took maybe 1/3 of each skein/color to complete the hat. I made this for my friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday & she loved it, yay!

The nubbles (frosting “bulges”) are easy but take a bit of time.

I do like using Lion’s Brand Vanna’s Choice yarn for hats like this, the yarn washes well, wears well & is still soft while maintaining it’s form.
