My first shawl. I rotate between loving the pattern and tearing my hair out when I realize I’ve screwed up the pattern AGAIN. Much tinking and frogging have been involved.

This is FINALLY finished. I really like how the yarn and pattern work together. And this is not only my first finished knitted lace project, but my first blocked piece as well. Unfortunately I didn’t block it nearly as aggressively as I should have, so I will probably need to reblock it at some point. I bound off on 7s and finished with an inch and a half of yarn left.

I think this is an excellent pattern for first-time lace knitters.
