I used a tubular cast on, and worked some short rows at the back neck.

I’m working the Ouija board chart and I added 1 ladderback jacquard stitch every 8 stitches to start. I’ll add more ladderback stitches as the chart increases.

I’m ready to start the second yoke chart but the directions for setting it up so it’s centered are incorrect, so I’m improvising. The repeat is very large and irregular so I’m not sure where to put the ladderback jacquard stitches, or if I even need them.

I decided to add 1 ladderback jacquard stitch after every 5 stitches. That way I’ll never have a float longer than 5 stitches.
I’m using the XL alphabet chart on the lower part of the body.

I don’t think this pattern is going to be published, but the colorwork charts were fun to knit and I got a lot of practice with ladderback jacquard.

The pattern is published! I love that so many charts are included. It was so much fun to play with the colorwork charts and make a unique sweater. I can’t wait to wear it this spooky season!

This pattern is NOT size inclusive. As the sizes get larger the neck openings also get larger, so much larger that the largest size has a 42” neck opening. NO ONE needs a 42” neck opening unless they want an off the shoulder style a la Flashdance.
I pointed out this grading problem to the designer when I was test knitting the pattern, but I see now that nothing was changed in the published version of the pattern. I doubt that this pattern was tech edited either.
