I made the asymmetric version.

The written instructions are for the symmetric one but there’s no clue about it in the pattern. The other version has only a chart at the end. It is possible to crochet that but if there would some notes about the structure of the pattern, it wouldn’t be so embarrassing in the first ten minutes when I tried to understand what’s happening. Mainly because I purchased it because of the first picture on ravelry and didn’t know about the two structures. (Even the pattern starts with the photo of the asymmetric one than starts the symmetric written notes.)

Nevermind, but because of these I would not recommend it for a beginner. But if you have some crochet skills, make it! It’s a wonderful shawl in the end, I promise! :)

Mods:
I made the puffs though 7 layers of thread instead of nine, I tried it in the first couple of rows and it made my wrist cry. :)
