I love this pattern. I made one for each person in my family. The only thing I would do differently is when making a girl I would do the last few rounds of the body with the hair color so the scalp doesn’t show through as skin colored. I did use a lot of long strands and several short strands sewn in to hide the scalp. I also sewed the hair ties to the head to hold the pig tails down. I am really happy with how it turned out.
On the guy I did the eyes, cape, and B before stuffing and sewing up the head. I just did that because my son was sleeping and I had promised him I would let him stuff it but it was actually easier that way. I was able to tied knots inside after making the eyes, etc.
