It was really easy to convert this pattern to make a ninja. I followed the pattern but didn’t change the color until I got to the area where the mask would be. For the first two I knit 2 stitches, did intarsia for 6 stitches, and did the rest black. I did 2 rows of intarsia.
For the third I used a more pink color for the face and did 8 stitches of pink with two stitches in between the eyes. I also made it a sword with 2 stitches in the round. I just made knots for the brown handles of the sword.

I knit everything in the round.
