Notes

Tried to make a hat called “Heidi Hat” with cables but ran out of yarn at the end. Improvised this cap and used all but about 12 inches of yarn…that’s calling it close!

Cast on 72 stitches on size US 8 dpns and did k2,p2 rib for 6 rounds. Then switched to size US 9 dpns and then knit around and around until cap was nice height. Then began decreases: k10,k2tog around and then k9,k2tog and so on. No plain rounds in between decrease rounds.
