My nephew was admiring the t-shirts I knitted for two of his daughters and said, “Do these come in adult sizes?” It’s always a great feeling to have your knitted gifts appreciated, so this is the first (and probably not last) adult size “Speckle Tee” that I’ll be knitting. I would not mind having one for myself.
I’m winging it for this pullover for my nephew’s wife, Sarah. Top-down pullover has dropped shoulders, short rows in back and shoulder areas and shaped front neckline. Body is straight without any shaping.
Started with a provisional cast-on at the shoulders. Knitted flat until finishing decreases under each arm. Then I knit in the round the rest of the way down.
Yarn is very soft. Machine washable and dryable. It will shrink about 1/2 inch in width and 2 - 2.5 inches in length the first time put into a warm dryer, so I allowed for this. Love how colorul this yarn is. Love all the available colorways. I hope to try all of them before Premier discontinues this yarn which seems to happen quite quickly to all my favorite yarns. The solid colors in this yarn line (DK weight) are already hard to come by.
