Notes

Finished knitting the first bootie in 2 evenings, now I am wondering how to weave the two parts together at the sole..

Weaved the two parts at the sole with kitchener’s stitch for garter stitch, learned by watching youtube videos, turned out great for my first attempt (first, I was really afraid..). Sew the rest of the seam together. Added little buttons. The booties look really cute - I hope they will fit (if not.. they fit my plush hare ;) ).

I bought two skeins of Lang merino 120 superwash and used them for the baby hat and the booties, didn’t weigh my leftovers but it seems I still have 1/3 of the blue skein and half of the grey skein.

If I knit the booties once more, I would try the method without cutting the yarn in between - you have quite a lot yarn ends to weave in.
