For me, the best way to weave was to lay the piece flat, use a spearhead 3 inch tapestry needle and go as far as possible on that needle (gathering) before pulling through. In that way, I could roll out any apparent twists by holding both ends and twisting the rows to lay flat. Make sure to look often, underneath, to make sure you haven’t accidentally picked up any threads of contrasting yarn.
Doubled fringe was trimmed to 2” after securing with an sc knot and joining two groups together with two hand knots.
