180 squares @12 x 15. Sixty unique combinations, randomly placed across 5 rows, then repeated two more times (15 rows). H hook for body; 7 hook for border.
August 9--180, 3-round circles complete. Just over 1-1/2 skeins each, of 5 colors used (prior to border). Begin last round attachment. August 18--begin border. Border consists of one row each of background color in HDC, followed by dc; one row each SC of 5 motif colors; one row of dc in background color followed by RSC to finish.
I’m very pleased with the project. As tedious as I thought the 3-round motifs might be, it was far more mind-numbing and time consuming to join all and finish the substantial border. However, well worth it.

The way the pattern is written (attaching) the squares bow out along the unattached side and cower in at the corners. I should have made adjustments when working the first row of border (in background color) by employing taller and shorter stitches that even things out and mitigate the curving that occurs (see hanging photo). Not bad as is, but this adjustment would’ve made for a better presentation.
