This is the sock on the front of Sensational Knitted Socks -- the big green one. I was at Borders shopping for a sock pattern book (found a Borders gift card I’d forgotten about months ago, and I was ready to get serious about socks) and I WANTED THAT SOCK RIGHT NOW.

This was also an excellent opportunity to use up the Panda Cotton, since the Seascape color way is a little loud for my taste by itself (and I actually frogged the yarn for this from a completed Monkey). Mixed in with the brown Risata, it ROCKS MY FACE OFF.

I actually followed a pattern closely for a change, except that I did these two-at-a-time on two circulars. I restarted once after a couple inches into the leg -- they were far too tight -- and I redid one heel at least three times because of a stunning inability to count stitches accurately while watching TV.
