Love love love love the yarn -- so soft! -- and love love love love the pattern -- it’s a little more complicated than the average market bag pattern, but it looks more sophisticated. After knitting a thousand socks that take forever, this went very quickly and I relished every bit of it. I’d add that the yarn seems to be cat-proof (spent some time fighting it away from boyfriend’s mom’s cat) and the bag is definitely puppy proof (boyfriend’s brother’s puppy jumped up, snatched it out of my hands and ran off with it -- it took two of us to wrestle it back, undamaged).

7/8 - Finished the second one, still some yarn leftover. Not sure what to do with it. Considering buying more yarn and making a couple more.

7/3 - Finished in the car on the way to 4th of July festivities at boyfriend’s parents’. LOVE IT.

7/3 - Just started the top edge, not to the handles yet.
