When I started this project, the first few rows were not flat, the whole thing seemed to run in a circle, and not horizontally like supposed… This was fixed by crocheting a little tighter. Also, I am knitting in the back loop only when I change color. This way, I get the rugged effect, but I can still move along quite quickly :)
