My daughter bought a pink hat and she wanted fleece lined mittens to match. We found the yarn in the right shade of pink and a bulky weight that matched the hat so I just copied the stitch in the hat as closely as possible and made a basic mitten. Purchased fleece at the fabric store, cut a pattern the same shape as the mitt minus the thumb and stitched it in by hand. Voila! Matching mittens!
