2nd attempt at a boy looking sun hat. The yarn is more denim colored than purple even though the colorway is called violet.
Turned out really cute. Way better for a boy.
Notes:

1. I changed Row 2 to a knit row instead of purl.
2. I increased to 80 sts on the 1st rib row to account for the K2-P2 rib pattern.
3. I Increased 4 sts on the purl row before the decreases to make it divisible by 7 instead of the last rib row. It wasn’t as noticeable. Starting with K12, K2tog for decrease row. I omitted the I cord drawstring,
