9/13/14 - I’m on round 28 (out of 38) on the color work chart. I am trying to finish this in time for Stitches. Fingers crossed! I have been trying to do two rounds per day.

10/1/14 - finished body and realized that I just didn’t like the way it was fitting. The change for positive ease in the yoke to 0 ease in the body caused some weird bunching. RIIIIIPPPPPPPPPP all the way back to the yoke. This time I am going to decrease 2 stitches every four rows 4 times at 1/3 and 2/3 across the back as the back is too big. I will do side shaping at the same time. I will also be shortening the torso as I have an extremely short torso. Hoping to still finish this by Stitches East but it is getting close now.

10/11/14 - stayed up until 12:30 and then woke up at 6:30 to weave in ends. Finished and I love it! :)

Yarn usage:

Total yardage: 1,236 yards (approximated by weight)

• 3g left of the lighter purple (barely made it - I would have liked the neck a bit longer but had I done that, I would have needed to break into the second “just in case” skein. :)

• 210g left from all three skeins. I used one skein for both sleeves as I wanted it to match and I knew that there was enough yarn for both sleeves. I have three partial balls left from the sweater and when I weigh them all together, I have 210g remaining which is slightly less than one ball.
