This will always be my ALL time favorite knit I’m so proud of this sweater and extremely grateful for this beautiful opportunity to knit a sweater for Caitlin, just in aweThis pattern is dreamy and definitely one to knit over and over again, the possibilities are a plenty! The amazing yarn was supplied to me, using the new colorway and base Moonspun by Moondrake Co. Rachelle really knows how to dye up yarn, I absolutely loved working with these colors. The yarn blooms so beautifully after soaking. It does grow, but very minimally, and blocks out very nicely. I didn’t have any color bleeding, which I tested first with my gauge swatch.

I followed the pattern as written. I started to alternate between skeins after completing the yoke, even though all the skeins supplied looked all very consistent.

I love the stitch pattern for the hem, cuffs and neckline, so different and interesting! The charts are easy to memorize and there are some areas with longer floats. I prefer not to pick up my floats, but there are a few sections where I did. The colorwork is addicting, just want to see the pattern take shape

For reference I am 5’11”, I usually knit my arm length to 20”, and my body to 11” for cropped sweaters. This sweater was knit and blocked to Caitlin’s measurements per pattern.
