I got gauge on US 8 using MC in stockinette; and because I’m using a sport weight for CC; I was getting 22 sts 24 rows on US 8, and 18 sts on US 9 in color work. I like the result better on the US 8. I have a loose gauge so there will be lots of drape from this yarn, so I’m not worried about fit. I’m anticipating I’ll have less ease though.

Instead of later picking up stitches for neckband, I just casted on the 93 stitches as indicated in pattern, and did 5 rounds of twisted rib to keep with required number of stitches for beginning of pattern. 5 rounds gave me just under an inch of collar hem.

Left out some of the body chart to keep from being too long. And only did one Latvian braid before adding body hem.

Love using the Zauberball and still have quite a bit left over, and very little ends to weave in. Some of the gradient was too close to main color, so only had to remove a few of those sections. The sweater is very soft and has lots of drape due to the superwash fiber content and loose gauge, but it is so lovely and warm, lightweight.
