I needed a stash buster for all of my one skeins of Baby Cashmerino that I used for a striped hat I had knit before. Then I came across this great bonnet pattern from shescrafty (I love all of her patterns!). Note: The cute stitch pattern does not continue to the back of the head. Instead, it is just stockinette stitch. See photos of other Modern Baby Bonnet projects. I had assumed that the stitch pattern would be around the entire head, so just a FYI for anyone out there who thought the same too.

I think, approximately, I used 38g of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino to make the 6-12 month size. I measured and subtracted the yarn pre-knitting (39g) from the yarn leftovers after knitting (1g) using a kitchen digital scale. I was just curious how much yarn this bonnet would take.
