Row gauge slightly off with the 8s, but if my stitch gauge is on, my row gauge is never on. I do have an extra skein, though, so I think I’ll be fine. My plan is to start out knitting the 49.25” size, maybe increasing to the next size (or a size in between) to accommodate my spare tire a little better. I’d also like to lengthen it a bit.

This yarn is awesome to knit with.

11/3/11: I’m ready to split the sleeves from the body! So exciting!I think I’m going to knit a few rows of the body before I go back and finish the sleeves off, then I’ll go back to the body.

11/17/11: Not working on this exclusively, but I started my 3rd ball of yarn today. I have two more increase sections until I reach where I should be in the pattern. I’ll try it on at this point to see how much longer I need to make it. I’m thinking one or two more increase sections, but we’ll see.

11/19/11: Made it to where I’m supposed to end before starting the body ribbing, but then I decided to lengthen it by 2 more increase sections.
