I started the project with the suggested needle size but I didn’t trust my gauge and wasn’t liking the looseness of the fabric so I went down a size (5mm). When I finished the panels my pieces were smaller than the schematic so I’m blocking the heck out of it and finger’s crossed everything will work out…

With wet blocking I was able to achieve the size as set out in the schematic.
I seamed 7” for the arm seams and knit the trims as pattern directed.

The finished garment is possibly a tad smaller than the pattern design but I wanted a smaller fit in the first place because I didn’t want it falling off my shoulders all the time. The fit is perfect for me and I am so happy with the piece.
