Hat and Cowl designed in the modular style of diagonal strips alternating with sideways bands for a unique look that will make you look twice.
It took a few tries to get the shaping right on the hat, short rows make this a simple knit and reverse stockinette neatly finishes off the edge.
Real quick to knit and once you get the first diagonal and sideways unit done, it is virtually mindless knitting.
