Another fun project for Wendy at Unwind Yarn House. I was once again not sure how this turns out…as the yarn is very light and with the needles 5 mm and 6mm much bigger than the yarn calls for.

However to make this a very airy jacket the needles size will make it very light and flowing in the breeze. Worked out just fine with using only the one yarn, if you have a lace wait yarn to add to the knitting I am sure it will look just as lovely too.

Once finished with the knitting I soaked this shrug in cold water and let it dry outside. The yarn was very cores so I just put it in the dryer for 5 minutes to soften up.
It feels so soft I was very happy to see how this yarn worked out. The stitches where very uneven at first…..but with the soaking the stitches have fallen into perfect shape…..

I Love this Shrug and the yarn is very nice too.
Working on one for me now…almost done my second one. I will love to wear this a lot this summer

When you are casting of and on 29 sts for the Arm opening. I would recommend casting on and off 31sts. Or even a view more like 33sts. Then knitting the arm accordingly to the 33sts. I found even though I am small and 29sts would be ok. It feels tight around my arm and I would have preferred to have it a little bit looser for my liking. This also depends on how tight your cast off and on.
