This may turn into a nightmare. The yarn needs steam pressing and shows every iron mark ( Medium heat used). I’m hoping that when it’s finished an overall steam will correct this. I’m also not sure about the e-wrapped starts. They might have to be crocheted to finish ( Again I will wait and see what it looks like sewn together)

Yarn is 2 strands of Yeoman Silky Plated together. Knitted at T 2.

21/4/17 Slow progress today. Crocheted round edge of sleeves and then found out I preferred the wrapped steamed edge that I’d made on bottom of garment. I also managed to put one side of the neckband on.

1/5/17 Extremely slow progress on this project. Life tends to have a way of throwing something at you which completely throws you off kilter.
I did manage to sew garment together but hated the sleeve head and also the shoulders seem to wide. I’ve decided to sew them in using the sewing machine and will hopefully loose the rather angular appearance and some of the excess shoulder.
I’ve covered some buttons as I’m not too happy with my ‘V’ neck join, though I haven’t made my mind up yet to use them.
Not a project for the feint hearted by the way !!!

11/5/17 Finished at last. Sleeves were stitched in using my sewing machine and a fine zigzag stitch. Much better than when I hand stitched them in.
