The pattern calls for size 9mm needles (13US). I cast on 156 and knit the border and thought it was too loose. So I took it off the needles and measured it. It was as wide as a queen size bed! A good five feet instead of three (36 inches)! I’m now working with #8 US and it seems to be better. We’ll see. I may need more yarn. I bought another skein and was able to get the same dyelot.
