Sometimes, you just need another project. I have the yarn wound for me to start a swatch for my next sweater, but for some reason, I just wasn’t feeling that or the shawl I’m currently working on. I just wanted some colourwork - simple as that! I have all these little scraps of Blue Sky that I got from FarrahW ages ago that I think will be perfect for this project.

Well crap - this didn’t work out at all. I didn’t have enough of the background colours, so the stripes were WAY off and I ran out of those colours before the decreases started. I’m frogging this…the colours look great, but it’s not working with this pattern. You can’t even really see the great design on it. I’ll find something else for this yarn to turn into, and I’ll make this some other time with different yarn.
