Notes

The red was a test sweater with some old yarn I had purchased for a different project I never got around to making. I swatched before I started and my gauge was good at 11.5/4” but after I BO and it was huge, I measured again and it was 10/4”. Not sure what happened there but it was a test sweater anyway to see if I liked the cropped length on me. I liked it a lot so I ordered the Billow yarn and got started on the real thing.

I didn’t realize that Billow is a thick and thin yarn when I bought it. I’m a very tidy knitter so I don’t totally love the texture but it isn’t that bad. I think the hbs helped because if there was a thin section on the needle, the k1yo was often a thick section so it evened out. I decided to knit mine without any ease because of cotton’s tendency to stretch with wear and it fits great now so I hope it doesn’t stretch too much!
