I am so excited to make this sweater. I am using my mill spun Columbia wool. (Thank you Mable and Iola!) I died the wool in Walnuts.

I have knit the collar and just started sleeve stitches.

My only beef with the pattern: I was under the impression the whole pattern was a garter stitch pattern but the main body is stockinette. Not a big problem. I am still loving it!

Important suggestion for all knitters of this sweater.
Once you knit the collar and put those needles down, pick them back up and start the bottom. You can then knit this section as car knitting or purse knitting while you are knitting the body. You will be so happy you did.
Making excellent progress.
I have the body 3/4 done and both sleeves 3/4 done.
I am knitting in the round with a steek. Added 4 stitches between the slip st edging.

I am running out yarn for one of the colors. I cast on my sleeves and worked as far as I could, knitting them even with the body. I will finish with the second color with sleeves and body. I think it should look fine (I hope)
