I’m not sure I’ll keep working on this Meadow scarf. The fabric seems too dense and doesn’t drape well.

Decided to make Olivia cowl since Meadow scarf wasn’t working out

Olivia cowl looked wonky and awful. Frogged it again! Now I’m trying a basket weave lace cowl. Wish me luck!

Lace basketweave stitch knitting pattern:
Cast on a multiple of 8, plus 1 extra stitch and 2 selvage stitches. For example 43 sts.
Row 1: sel s, p3, k3, p2 – repeat till the end as many times as needed across the row, p1, sel s.
Row 2: sel s, repeat k3, p3, k2 across, k1,  sel s.
Row 3: sel s, repeat p3, k3, p2 across, p1, sel s.
Row 4: sel s, repeat k3, p3, k2 across, k1,  sel s.
Row 5: sel s, repeat k2, yo, k2tog, k1, ssk, yo, k1 across, k1, sel s.
Row 6: sel s, purl all stitches, sel s. Purl yo stitch through the front loop.
Row 7: sel s, repeat k2, p5, k1 across, k1, sel s.
Row 8: sel s, repeat p2, k5, p1 across, p1,  sel s.
Row 9: sel s, repeat k2, p5, k1 across, k1, sel s.
Row 10: sel s, repeat p2, k5, p1 across, p1,  sel s.
Row 11: sel s, repeat k1, ssk, yo, k3, yo, k2tog across, k1, sel s.
Row 12: sel s, purl all stitches, sel s. Purl yo stitch through the front loop.
Repeat Rows 1-12 to form the pattern.
Knit a long rectangle and sew short edges together. Wear wrapped once or twice depending on length.
