This will be replacement for my beloved outdoor fleece jacket.
Good old fleece jacket can rest in peace now:-)
Im very fond of Drops Lima, because the yarn is very durable. Knitted an afghan for my daughter once, which is definetely not treated with care and still looks like new.
I used a smaller needle, because I wanted a dense fabric for an outdoor cardi.
Gauge was slightly smaller. Since I am a size 14/16 girl, a cardi with too much ease would look like a tent and therefore is not an option. I decided for the 137cm version which (according to my calculations) would create a cardigan with 15cm ease instead of 25cm.

Body is finished. Size and length perfect!
Button band will be done later. Sleeves first.
Sleeves are the critical part in terms of size. I hate sleeves with little ease and might follow the instructions for size 40 sleeves (24 instead of 34 decreases: 84 down to 60 stitches instead of 50).This will hopefully create a wider sleeve suitable for an outdoor jacket.

Plan B for sleeves: no decreases at all down to elbow. Upper arm circumfence is 32 cm, sleeve starts with 39.
31.01.2016
Started with 84 stitches.
Sleeve: 68 rows after garter rows without decrease.
Decrease every 8 row as stated.

Stitches for button band were picked up and stitches were arranged in 2/2 ribbing by Anke.
Now I would be ready to go to finish the button band … yet the buttons are still in the mail.

Button band knitted with 3.5. 6 button holes.

Had to shorten sleeves. Picked up at 72 stitches with needle 3.0, started with ribbing straight away and continued with decreases every 4th row down to 64 stitches plus 6 more even rows.
